Default Just put on JDM 4-1...

Well, I finally put it on, after having to drive around for a week with open headers.
I ended up having to get a Carsound cat, which I didn't think I'd have to do.

Anyways, it pulls really hard up top, and power doesnt seem to dry out even at 8k.
1st gear doesnt seem like anything special, but 2nd and 3rd just tear it up.

Also, I was wondering if they made the Spoon N1 mufflers for DC-2's. I think they make em for ITR's, but would they fit on a 1995 Integra?
And why do people go with the T1R b-pipe with it? I have a Tanabe Super Racing Medallion cat-back, but am thinking of switching up the muffler for the deep sound. Would the N1 bolt up to the Tanabe b-pipe?

Overall, great mod, and I can't wait for my ITR cams to come!

the spoon N1 ITR muffler will fit. most people go with the T1r because it's 63.5=2.5". but i don't understand the logic in combining it with a 60mm=2.36" axleback. you're just going to induce reversion because you're stepping down your exhaust. i don't know if the spoon N1 will fit your tanabe.

Don't worry, I got the skidplate too.

Another thing...the secondaries arent nearly as loud anymore as just with the intake and exhaust. Is that supposed to happen?

My idea for this may be because the vtec x-over (4400) has become more pronounced so that you dont hear the difference between that crossover and the secondaries opening more so... (if that makes sense at all )

? I dont know why it wouldn't be as loud. Maybe because the JDM header is droning your intake out. The JDM header is a lot lighter and more dense in its construction so it makes a lot of noise.

jus wait till you get the r cams. you will be able to hear your secondaries open. and you can feel the topend power.

you will then need to up the x-over point or your car will bog in the lower rpms

Yes, it just smooths the crossover out because the air is flowing more.

After running a week with open headers, I am really sick of loud.

Anyone know if the Spoon N1 would bolt up to my Tanabe?

And what would need to be done to bolt up the Tanabe muffler to a stock exhaust?

down low feels about the same, but its kinda hard to tell after having no torque for a week. At 5000 it just takes off.
