Ok the company that shipped my JDM front end to me have seem to have lost BOTH fenders. So here si where I need you guys and girls help. I need a pair of JDM fenders and the sidemarkers. I don't care if they are used or not! I need them like YESTERDAY since the body shop i work for has NOTHING going on next week so we would be able to devote alot of time into my car!

If ANYONE knows someone selling a pair or a site selling them please let me know! I have been to all the popular sites and they are just WAY to expensive for 2 fenders, plus they are wanting to rape me on shipping as well!

So if you can help me out please reply!

who did you ship it by was it insured? I can't help you with the fenders.. but you can definately lodge a complaint, make the shipper pay for the shipping + fenders and then say that your also being billed for extra days in the body shop due to the loss of the fender. jsut my .02

 

Tried that, didn't work. They swear up and down that they didn't lose them. Plus the guy that shipped my front end used Airborne Express and they don't pay you back for ANYTHING. They consider it YOUR fault that it turned up missing!

I thought I remembered seeing a set of white ones on The Parts Trader a little while back. If I remeber correctly, he was selling them cheap cause one was dented, but fixable (so he says). Might wanna check that out.

I think AE is pulling ur leg... theres no way a shipping company can skip responsibility on their packages.. is there a trackign number associated? get it from the shipper, if he doesn't have one, then I may look into if he ever shipped the fenders? If there is a trackign number which there almost always is nowadays, then track it to where the package is, if it indeed is lost take a claim out on AE, it's their job to ship that package. By accepting payment to ship a package and then not comign through with it, they are in essence breaking a contract which of course is illegal.

 

AE must assume some kind of responsibility! does the sender have a receipt that the fenders were actually sent? i would take them to court. what was the dollar value lost?

 

Can't help w/ the immediate need for fenders, but for recourse w/ shipping: Ask your seller for tracking numbers. The carrier will be liable if the fenders got some sort of scan indicating they entered the carriers' system. Airborne at this point will be liable to pay out even if the packages are not insured. If the shipper can not provide you with a tracking number that has some sort of scan on it, take it up w/ the shipper. good luck

I'm still trying to get the shipping information of what was shipped on the pallet. From what I understand AE said they never saw the fenders on the pallet. Osaka Motor said they shipped it out with the front end order. Now the guy I ordered this front end from is in a bind due to me not getting what either I or he paid for.

So if you guys can help out!!!

 

Sorry I can't hep you out with the fenders either, but I would definitely be going after AE, and whoever you got the FE from trying to get this starightened out ASAP.

well, A friend of mine is in Japan picking up 3 front clips, I could ask him to get a set but you will need to contact me ASAP. Cause I think he comes back tomorrow.

I wont even comment on the price Options wants for these friggin things, but they are out there all the same.

Yeah I have already been in touch with Greg at Options. Hell if I could remember the one site I went to or the place I called they wanted $445 a fender. I actually thought he stuttered when he told me the price. The guy is supposed to contact me today with a solution to this problem otherwise he is paypal'ing me money to my account to get thoe fender from option.
