y0 man, *** dat ****. take a 2L and bore it out to 2.4L and get some NOS and run like a 150 shot. mad torque off da line and crazy fast top end speed!

for real though, there is no guaranteed setup that will produce 230-240 at the wheels. and that takes mad crazy amounts of money and tuning to get anywhere close to that on the C5 motor y0!

First off what you asked has already been asked and answered here more than a few times before you signed up, and a simple Search can answer it for you.

Second, since you said you already searched and can't find anything you are just setting yourself up for a hard time because thats B.S. there are loads of topics on B18C5 buildups in this forum already, you just need to Search a little more than just one way or one phrase or one try.

Third, many more experienced members here have already discussed and answered the same questions for similar goals in the past. Again, More than Once, and just having another new guy ask them and NOT taking the time to really search beforehand is Not going to set the ball in motion in your favor.

You already got a few hints;

Search

&

Sgt

There are easily 5 Full pages alone related to "Cams."

There are 2 FULL pages related to the "ALL MOTOR" topic.

If 1/4 mile is what you want and you have the choice to swap in a hybrid motor then there are several topics about a "B20" swap as well.

There are also countless topics on; tuning, Intake, Header and Exhaust, Suspension, Tires, ECU's and related systems... The list goes on and on and on,, all related tot he Integra Type R in some important way since that's the forum you posted in...

I don't give a crap if you're pissed, heck I could care less, and I am Not tryin to be a dick (although I already know I am) but, C'mon dude at least try to Search and answer some of your questions First, Before you make a broad statement or query as you did above.

There are also several other forums here that will help you answer your all motor and 1/4 mile needs. And thats NOT elitest, it's the truth.

ActiveAero and others can answer a lot of your questions about the strip I'm sure, as can Sgt and others about all motor build ups.

But, come with a little more than just asking for it all laid out for you, because That's ALREADY there.

The internet is an amazing tool if you actually use it.

Here's a question; How is it that you decided upon the B18C5 for your application? And have you looked at another setup, like a Hybrid, or FI, or No2 yet?

Good luck, and Don't take this personally there are a million more just like you right behind you...

and I still stand by my first Constructive answer "Stock!'

A.

PS it's all tongue in cheek man,,, get it? Don't get your panties all in a bunch.

PPS We're all here to help,,, with excaptions like Soup ****,,, It's just redundant to see the same question asked by Another new guy,,, again, and again, and again... And then you claim you already searched... Blagh...

Best of luck,,, really...

Did I not post helpful information?

I told him EXACTLY what to do to find the information he is looking for.

What more does he want?

First off I hope he knows what a cam is and if he does know this small peice of information he can get well over 150 threads in this forum alone from just typing cam or cams into the search. Now if he or yourself can't figure that out you have major issues
Edit: y0!

If you don't know what those things are you should not be thinking about making over 200whp.

OK, here we go, the generic formula to a big-power motor. This really is self-evident, but...

1. Compression. For your goal you're going to want ~12:1. Forged pistons are nice.

2. Aftermarket cams. Don't ask me what kind. I don't care. They all work, despite what the fanboys and naysayers would have you believe.

3. Headwork.

4. Engine management/tuning. I suggest Hondata, although if you like spending money there are more complicated systems out there with lots of capabilities you'll never use.

5. All the little obvious **** I shouldn't have to mention, such as good headers, a strong clutch & light flywheel, etc.

There you go. That's how you make power with a B-series VTEC engine. If you're looking for a laundry list of which brand name parts to buy, you've come to the wrong place.

Whoa thanks guys but I don't need to be in the same sentence as SGT. I'm just a young teenage punk that gets lucky. In all honesty I am a complete noob when it comes to engine tuning. The only thing I'm remotely good at is launching our cars on street tires.
