Yack & Trann's road trip from hell
First off, ***** SNOW!!
Nick and I decide to hit up NOVA to pick up some cars and car parts, should have known 6 inches of snow was going to fall on us........fug.
After shaking my booty till about 3:30 Thursday morn with some ex co-workers in C town, I grab a quick 1 hour nap then Nick meets me and we leave around 5am for NOVA, EP bus rolling deep. Get to Lynchvegas VA and grab the truck and trailer from pops and park the bus at their house (10am ish). Cummins Turdblower (make note: {2 wheel drive} and trailer roll up to MD and arrive at Dr. C's yard to pick a few "goodies". (2:30pm ish) after purchasing a hatchcrap for nick, a coupe and big block for meself we head back south (4.30pm ish) Then it begins to get chitty. around 4:32pm the snow starts..........fug.
We make it back to Lynchvegas around 8.30pm ish with 2-4 inches on the ground. Grab the EP bus and meet up with Mr. Legoman to swap some parts and BS for half a second. Leave around 10.15pm ish. Then it gets worse, slipping and sliding our way back around 10:37pm ish "someone" decides to see if the EP bus can try out for the next Olympic Winter team with the bobsled team........a couple of 360's later the POS is muffler deep in the ditch......so we start to scratch out nappy heads to figure out how to get dat chit out....after a few seconds of freezing our asses off I yank it out of the ditch with the trailer and some tie down straps...
11:00pm ish, we are back on our way with the EP check engine light a blazing....(have yet to trouble shoot that one, maybe code "DON'T PHUCKING DRIVE IN THE SNOW" was wrote to the ECU...??) either way, no sheet metal was molested (sorry D, i'll work on that next time someone punts my bus into a ditch) so from then on to around Greensboro we have the hammer down at around 20mph....another fug.
All along the way the truck is barely making it up the hills, another note: drifting a 6klbs truck with trailer and car is not fun. some time around 5am Friday morn i find the bed.
We covered 900 miles in a lighting quick 22ish hours.........daym, i could have done double that in my sleep....with dry pavement.
anylay, some pics of the trip and fruits of our labor
New toy for me
New toy for Trann's snowmobile driving ***
Big Block project
Mr. Legoman telling Nick to just resell that POS for $4000 LOL
P.S. I can't sphell

Snow that we were predicting for two days
I think I told them it was all clear up here
Actually sounds like fun to me. I mean not at the time it is happening, but you'll tell this story again in 10 years over a beer with old friends.
