hello, i was just reading the install. kit for my Zex kit, and it read the following:
for a 55hp shot setup the nitour at 32psi, fuel at 36psi with no degrees change to the cam shafts.
is this pretty much obvious or should i still retard the timing? i have read many people saying to do it by 2 degrees...
anything from anyone running a nitrous kit will br appreciated...

 

It's 0 degrees for the 55 shot, 2 degrees for the 65 and I believe 4 degrees for the 75. I've been running my 55 as recommended by Zex with a no timing adjustment for a little over a year, with no problems what so ever. Remember Zex rates there shot at the flywheel where other company's like NOS, NX etc. are rated at the wheels. So a Zex 55,65,75 shot is a smaller shot of n2o when compared to NOS, NX etc.

i ran zex on my old motor of which i just sold it was a stock d16a6 i was running a low 16 - high 15 before my 55 shot of zex and was pulling a 14.6 i know i could have went low 14's high 13's if i could drive a lil better but hey im working on it.
