Pictures of 2004 s2000
Well, I don't really post much on the s2000/nsx area, and I don't quite remember who it was, but someone showed me, in a magazine, an article of the new s2000, which it said came supercharged by vortech. Now I might of saw wrong, I didn't really read the article, but the person who braught it up to me, just told me "hey its the new s2000". Now I am not quite sure, how or what the new s2000 will be equipped with, and I am not even sure if they will bring a newer s2000. But another friend of mine told me that they should be bringing the newer ones out in 2004.
Now I was just wondering, maybe this topic has been posted before or not, can someone please tell me if they: 1. Are they bringing a newer one | 2. Pictures of the newer one | 3. What will be the specs be on it
If someone can answer those questions, it would really help, cause not only am I really curious, but so is another friend of mine.
Thanks alot guys!

It is very unlikely Honda will produce a factory supercharged S2000. Next update on the S2000 is rumoured to be the S2200. Bumping the current 2.0 liter to 2.2. Also a coupe might be a possbility.
Vortech has been making an aftermarket SC kit for the S2000 for quite a while now along with Comptech and few others.

A mistranslation must have occured somewhere. Honda has a company policy that forced induction is for race cars, so retail vehicles will not be equipped as such.
2004 with a bump in displacement? Unlikely. If you want the car buy it now. It is a safe gamble that the changes will occur in the MY2004/2005 timeframe. Personally, I'm putting more faith in a 2005 update.
Nobody has the scoop on the model refresh for the S2000 yet. Then again, if they do; they aren't talking about it.

just for the record ....honda has made a turbo charged car before...honda city turbo1 and turbo2..........i even think they made a 1.3 kappa turbo not postive thoug im almost sure thats what they where called...of coruse we never saw this car in the states...and the s2000 has been rumored at the honda dealer that it is going to be equpped with the 3.2 v6 with and extend and wideeden nose.......thats what i heard on my side.........i guess we all have to wait
I'll do one better.
The first Acura Legend -> stateside <- was supplied with a turbo charged 2.0 with approximately 160hp of output. Those turbos are now a collectors item. Of course there is always an execption to the rule, but is it worth nit picking?

2.2 just doesn't make sense to me. Wasn't one of the primary reasons for using the 2liter the fact that the class they race in is 2.0 and under? Just seems kind of odd that they would increase the motor to a 2.2 if that's the case....

I also just recently read in a magazine, that the new S2200, if it's going to be the "all new s2000" pushing 2.2 liters, will only increase in 10 horsepower over the current model s2000. Which meaning if its true, it isn't that astonishing, well to me, and it doesn't interest me as much as the s2000 when it first came out. And also, they had a picture of it, and the link posted on this thread, that contains the picture of the "missing emblem"ed s2200, doesn't compare any where near the one I saw in the magazine, which means theres a debate, but I would say the magazine would be telling more of the truth! Thats in my opinion I say.

Its not a real car, its a photochop. If you don't believe me, look at the picture of it and follow the sideskirts. You will see a jagged edge and an overlap where the picture was photochopped. Every picture of the supposedly "S2200" has a similiar mark in that general area.
