Default Here are my Angel Eyes, +pic of HIDs warmin' up [56K maybe]

I finally had a chance to upload pics of the front of my ride...

here are a couple of shots just before the sun started setting today... the angel eyes are 'on':

here are close-up shots:

here is a better pic, just after the sun went down:

here are my 8000K Hanabi's warmin' up:

for some reason most of the pictures i take at night come out lookin like i was shakin the hell outta the cam no matter how steady I held it, so i wasn't able to get better pics of my HIDs, but I will try again tomorrow...

put your flash on, it will expose the picture faster, and since it is so dark out, flash wont make a difference

yessum! the LED's are from Radio Shack... $4.99 ea. way too expensive for how bright they are... i'm trying to get 20 white LED's that are 8x brighter than the ones i have now from some guy on ebay but i keep getting outbid...

anyway... i like them... they look better compared to that guy's white crx who's instructions I followed... he had his just sittin in front all pressed up against the clear lens... nasty

I dont know why, but I sweat the Angel Eyes. Combined with the HID's I think its a pretty sick combo. I gotta give a thumbs up, esp. w/ the black housing.

EDIT: You gotta match your corners now, or just put ambers on.

i bought the housings from ebay, but I think they were for regular halogen bulbs. But these projectors don't work too well with regular halogens... They throw the beam better and sharper than APC's chrome projectors, but APC's projectors lit up the road better (but not as sharp)... Anyway, my new HID's work really really good with the black projectors -- My friend and I switched cars for a night, driving around to see what each others rides looked like. I was actually very surprised with how classy and expensive they make my car look when I was driving in front of it. They are right up there with the S2000, i **** you not! I even drown out some (note: SOME) other HID's on Benz and Lexus! NO ****

I will take more pics tonight of my HID's, as well as some day pics to show.

if you think you're actually getting good light out of those 8000K's.. id love to see your face if someone switched 4300K bulbs in when u werent looking.. then you'd hate those high kelvin number kits just as much as i do.. 8000K gives you about the same ammount of lumens as the $50 silverstar conversion.. sad but true..

haha.. im just so sick of seeing these 6000, 7000, 8000, 10000, 1,000,000,000K kits around.. and people say "looks just like the bmw" when in actuality it looks nothing like it.. my friend has 6000K's on his ITR OEM HID headlights, and when hes behind me, the color is so purple that it takes away from the intensity and looks just like a PIAA bulb.. and when ur inside the car, the only thing that saves him is the fact that they're OEM HID optics.. other than that, those philips ultinons are crap..

i had silverstars before the 8000K kit, and i will agree they are the brightest 'HID look alike' halogens I've seen and used. I ended up giving them to my friend who has an LS teg. They really make his car stand out from the rest of them! They go good with his yellow bumper lights. I've even told him that they look really really close to early gen. HIDs.

I thought I would regret buyin an 8000K kit, but I don't. They perform way better than I expected. They cover way more ground than silverstars too thats fer dang sure...

I can tell I'm right on the border of the cosmetic/performance line, cuz they DO put out color, but they are nothing like the new Ford Focus Mach's HID's where they straight look DEEP BLUE when they approach you... i'm tellin you mine are right up there with the S2K...

- RS Kit w/R33 Bumper
- New Squash Air Freshener
man i hope not, thats gonna look like ****

16's on a hatchback and you're right on the border of big as hell
and the r33 bumper is just garbage man...no kits

ITR HID's aren't that great in the first place, I've seen 'em... How the hell are you gonna base your judgement on an integra's HID system? OEM or not...
