i was at a honda dealer today trying to price a timing belt for the b16, does the jdm take a different one? and am i supposed to ask for one from a 94-97 del sol vtec? i need to know cause people around here are telling me three different things! oh and what water pump also? thanks!

 

You can get the water pump and timing belt from a 94-97 Del Sol DOHC Vtec. Most of the parts are the same except for the dist. cap and rotor. Those you can get off of a 90-91 integra

 

If you need anything like a starter or alternator I would go with a 1990 integra. For the belt and water pump you could go with the delsol dohc vtec, but becarefully, autozone, pepboys and murrys gets the 1.6 sohc delsol confused with the dohc somtimes. Well atleast over here they do, I know murry's only carrys parts for the 1.6 sohc delsol. So if they don't have the part for the delsol, ask if they have it for the 1990 integra. Hope this makes senses

for water pump/oil pump/timing belt you can get ANY b16 stuff (Del Sol DOHC vtec, 99-00 Civic Si)

clutch - 90-91 teg

most of the electrical stuff the teg works but the distributor. You need an actuall JDM b16a1 distributor.

I know people using a 90-91 distributer, but you have to chop off one the legs to make it fit right.
