Default I have a problem. Really big big problem(flywheels bolts/threads)

I recently discovered why my car wont go in gear. My flywheel bolts came loose but only one was sticking out. But heres my question, I want to tap/rethread the female part where the bolts go into. I know the process of tap/rethreading is kind of like "boring" but wouldnt i need to get another sized bolt?

i looked inside the female part of the thread and it seems like only a few threads were slightly damaged. i know that you can reuse the same sized bolt but there will be an insert like this:

Now if i do find the right size tap, i can still use the factory bolt along with that insert. but wouldnt there be slightly more weight on that bolt since there is an insert? and wouldnt it be bad for one bolt to have a little more weight on the flywheel bolt since the flywheel is a reciprocating part and would be all unbalanced?

well i dont know whatt to do. here are some pics.

this is what i discovered when i took my clutch out.

heres a pic of my disc notice the middle part where the bolt tore it up since the bolt was sticking out.

heres a close up pic i took you cant really see the threads but i decided to take one. the hole on the right is the one that is screwed up, the one on the left is a test bolt I took out to put a good bolt on the right hole. Results…. It stripped my test bolt.

heres a pic of the top side of the bolt.

heres a close up of the bad bolt only a few threads are stripped 2 or 3.

heres anotehr close up of the thread

waht can i do?

I think you just need to clean up the threads with a tap and get 2 new bolts. Only 3 at most threads are messed up. I dought anything is wrong with the bolt holes. There is probably just a little stray metal where the bolt starts to thread that needs to be cleaned out.

yeah its not that bad at all gio. What you need to do is buy a tap that size i think its M14x1.25 but im not 100% sure. Take a bolt to the auto parts store and see if they have the right tap, the run the tap into the bolt holes, clean them up and then you will be good to go! that pretty harmless.

retapping should work no question. that is not a bad scene at all there. good thing that there was not more damage

Really...have you had a look at your main bearings? Better to be safe than sorry.
