Transmission fluid dip-stick?
how do I check my transmission fluid, im at 30k so I need to flush the tranny right? I wanted to see if I can see the tranny fluid.

WHAT? JUst pull the top plug (3/8 or 1/2 ratchet size, no need of a socket even) on the right side of the tranny and stick your finger in. If you can feel fluid then your alright. While your down there... you may as well change the fluid.

im wondering if its possible to pour oil throught teh VSS gear hole that is on top of the tranny?? i have mine off cuz im replacing it and i was curious. it would make it a tad bit easier id say.

Unscrew the fill bolt, and pour tranny fluid in through the VSS hole, until it starts to come out from the fill bolt. When it does, you are all set to screw everything back in.

If you are gonna unbolt the fill hole anyways, might as well use it to fill. Funnel + extension tube ownz.
