Default Spark plugs and Mugen chipped p28

Hi all, I have a mugen chiped p28 ecu attached to a b16a2. I'm sure anyone here with a mugen chipped ecu knows about how rich they run the engine. I'm curious if I would get better gas milage/performance out of stepping up to little hotter spark plug? FYI I live in Phoenix, AZ so I'm wary of running hotter plugs in the summer, or is that something I shouldnt even worry about. Thank you in advance.

I wouldn't do that. I'd suggest going with Hondata. Now if you really don't wanna spring for the $$$ then I'd suggest lowering your fuel pressure.

Agreed. All a hotter plug will do is tend to cause pre-ignition.

Sounds good, all I'm really after is getting better gas mileage. Its just rediculous right now. I need to get me a hondata.
