cable to hydraulic
I recently snapped the clutch cable in my 92 RS, apparently the upgraded pressure plate was too much for the cable. I was wondering what my options were as far as some kind of swap to switch the cable clutch system to some type of hydraulic.
I was thinking it might be possible to maybe get the bell housing and hydraulic delivery system off of a similar model and use that. If this could work would I be able to use my current pressure plate? Or is my only option some kind of cable to hydraulic tranny conversion?
I could stay w/the cable tranny and just replace the cable, but im worried I will only end up w/another snapped cable again. Is there a stronger cable I can purchase that could hold up to a stronger pressure plate.
thanx for any help u can give me...
