I'm trying to buy paint for a car I haven't bought yet. I know 88-91 CRXs were available in "Rio Red", and I'm nearly sure that the Civic is the same color, but the parts store catalog says "Phoenix Red". Could someone confirm? Multiple web searches only revealed CRX colors, not Civic Si.

why don't you just look on the inside door jam at the paint code, then have a paint shop match it for you....

 

I will do that as soon as I get it ... next week. Thought someone here might know.

eah my paint code in my wagon is something like r-63 (i don't remember for sure though) and its rio red

The '90 Civic Si came in Rio Red, code R-63-4.
