finally got the $125 to repowdercoat my rims. now i just have to decide on a color... should i go with gunmetal, bronze, black, or color matched white pearl?

$125?....are you planning on only doing two wheels?

 

IMO leave it white, and use the money to paint your hood. Preludes look clean, keep them that way.

30 bucks around here is the going rate

 

$120-140 for all 4 around here

 

i guess powdercoating is little easier to come by on the west coast, because here they can charge whatever they want.

 

Or spend the money on other mods elsewhere. Paint the hood

 

sell the wheels and buy some bronze TE-37's. or trade someone with the bronze ones.

 

but i like my carbonfiber vis hood

I would leave it the way it is.

 

It looks good as it is. I wouldnt powdercoat te's no matter what. If anything bronze would look amazing on your car and or gunmetal to help set off the hood!

 

i think its hard to say because the car looks damn good now, i think photoshop would make the decision easier

because body parts that dont match on a car, make it look weird and not clean.. CF hoods are for weight reduction, not aesthetics.. and there is no need to lose 15lbs on the street at the cost of having a mismatched body panel..

edit: no need to lose weight on the street no matter what actually.. unless u wanna save like half a cent in gas milage..

I say leave the wheels white. The hood painted white too would look good in my opinion.

 

yea, since they make bronze neways. i dont think they make gunmetal. so that might be a better idea.

I couldn't get a decent bronze color working for me, but I say you go with bronze. Black is played out(ironic enought I have black wheels...soon to be changed), and bronze looks good on white cars IMO.

i like both black and gunmetal rims.. i just dont like spoon rims because they're not really black.. they're like ash tray bottom gray.. but i just dont like when a body panel is mismatched, and i dont like the way CF looks at all.. thats just me..

 

will someone photoshop some gunmetal ones on it........IMO i think that would look killer.i say leave the hood also.
