JDM in Japan?
I was just wondering if people in Japan ever convert their Integra headlights to the US type? and what do they consider as rice to be? do they like the "rice" style? I dunno, just a thought

I've seen them covert to USDM. And yes, some of them do that.
The Japanese 'pop culture' has an obsession with the U.S.. It is evident in their music and love for "lowriders."

In Japan...its kind of the opposite to the states...more flashy your car, the more en vogue it is. Especially manufacturer stickers! Some guys even have there performance data printed on their doors (example: I saw an MR-2 turbo that had "250ps@7800rpms" decal on the door. Kinda looked cool though.
Stereo makers on the back window is always a hit! I'm also guilty of this. I have a Kenwood decal on my rear hatch glass...but thats all....Japanese in general don't get over zelous with decals and it looks good most of the times...APC, cough,...they suck!... I prefer the Top Fuel look myself.

I'm sure wherever you go somebody has the spoil the scene for all of us.
I don't know if its a stereotype or what but the Japanese people I see at my school (or anywhere) are really self conscious about their appearance. They are always out for a fashion statement (and then they gotta rip off my chucks!) but anyway, I think it goes the same for their taste in cars?

Yeah, the Japanese have terrible taste in aesthetics. That's probably why they've never made a really good-looking car.

Its all about getting stuff that u cant get just around the corner. We want what they have they want what we have. There should be a company who trades parts between countries. It could be like a dating service for car parts. There would be a database of car owners and what they are looking for in a part and what they have to offer. Then they search the database of other countries and find people who are offering what they are looking for. Lastly they can contact each other and trade parts between them. That way we can trade our USDM parts for their JDM parts..........LMAO. I have way too much time on my hands but i think its not a bad idea.
