Changed brake fluid...didn't take much
I just flushed out my system with ATE Super Blue brake fluid. I'm wondering if I did it correctly or not because it didn't take that much fluid to flush out the whole system. I poured the Super Blue into the master cylinder and flushed the fluid out of each caliper until all the red fluid was gone and only blue fluid was spitting out.
I was told it was going to take about 2 cans (liter) but I didn't even finish a 1 liter can from flushing all 4 calipers. I'm wondering should I have pumped more and let more blue fluid spit out to take out any residual stock fluid or should I be fine?
Also my clutch fluid is in need of a flush and am wondering if the ATE Super Blue is fine to use for that as well. The can reads that it conforms to DOT3/4 specifications so I assume it will be good but I just want to make sure.

Since we're on the subject of brake fluid change, can someone tell me what's the order of caliper I should bleed the brakes? I know on my NSX is RL, FR, RR, FL.

I always heard start farthest from the master cylinder, so RR, LR, RF, LF.
But what do I know, I drive Volvos

It doesn't matter. I've tried different orders and none make a difference. Just be sure to not let the fluid level drop too low in the MC and you should be okay.
good post
Im also curious about this though :

and Surfer, if you have relatively new pads, there is not alot of fluid in the calipers, IE the pistons are not extended out that much, which will in turn not require as much fluid to flush Vs. older brake pads (pistons extended)
