Car back from body shop- bodywork pics
After a mild hit on the driver door while parked I took the car in to have all dents removed and new paint. The pics of the body work are in the link below for those interested.

I kept the stock 15"s as well- but really the rims are only 2lb heaver than stock so they're not too much of a drag. In retrospect I'd have gone with 16"s. The bronze rims might be up for a powdercoat come spring.
Personally, if you were patching all the panels on your car, i would have removed the door moldings, and had the OEM side skirts and lower front lip painted the body color.
I will be painting the entire car later this year and have the moldings removed.
Looks like the shop did good job. Car looks great.

Your bumpers were not removed before painting? I hope they remembered to add the flex additive or your paint will crack.
Also, what type of paint was used on your car?

About shaving the mouldings- The car picked up a lot of door dings so I wanted to keep them. If it wasn't my daily driver I'd have considered it. A complete repaint in a different color was an option, but if I had that done I'd want ALL of the original paint covered up. That woud have doubled the price and I'd have had to pay about $3K more than insurance was paying for the door to be fixed. I just didn't think it's worth it on a used car that might try to trade in in the future. There are other things I'd do with that money- this time of year lift tickets, gear, and ski trips eat up a lot of my extra income. Sideskirts would look better painted until I chipped them kicking the snow off my snowboard boots.
The body work ws done at Precision Autobody on 11th and Pine (capitol hill). I found out about them through my co-worker that had his M3 and WRX worked on there.

Actually the rims are RH CP-8's The car "looks" lower with the 15"s on it. its dropped on H&R OE's - which were put on before I got the rims-
I've gotten quotes from $1500 to $2500 for a quality pro paint job, OEM color, NOT Maaco-style. And then add $600 for color change. Includes body work (rust, small dings, etc.)
