Now that I've posted this I'll probably get about 200 to this tank.

 

did you shift at 2k in the city, or was that all highway?

 

How did you manage to pull that? I went in to VTEC 1 time today and i alreday see my fuel falling down fast. Do you have a VAFC? If so do you lean it out?

its about half city and half highway.

shift at 3k in the city and 4500 on the freeway until 5th gear and i try and stay below at or below 3500

 

no vafc, just no heavy foot and keep the rpm's low

 

how many gallons do you run it down to? i could hit 350+ when i'm under a gallon left on the tank

 

how do you know if you only have a gallon left?

 

WTF ? You never go into vtec ? Where's the fun in that ?

wtf...how? my gas light turns on at about 250 miles. what kind of spark plugs do you use?

 

bosch +4 and msd wires , k&n intake, type r thermal cat back. no cat and type r lower exhaust manifold.

i think it does, but it sounds kinda shitty. not like i had thought it would. but the 95 gsr cat wouldn't bolt up to the type r manifold and exhaust. 3 a.m. had to improvise

 

my driving is kinda rough though. its a drive from jersey just up to the holland tunnel (so i get al lthe NYC traffic) and a lot of traffic and variations in speed...i go from 0-90mph though the whole commute...80-90 on the clear highways for a few mins and then 30 in traffic and then 60 on the conjested highways and then 0-5 in the real traffic...it sucks. one time i went to PA and i got like 30mpg at a steady 80mph fpr about an hour and 45 mins. but thats the higest i EVER got.

 

yeah down here i'm 50/50 highway/city, but trafik on our heavest times is light compared to yours. i can usually weave trough and keep the cruis on 70mph most of my trip to school

 

with no cat this exhaust has areally deep drone from 2500 to 3500 it will drive you crazy and if you hammer it it buzzez like mad. sounds like your being chased by the worlds largest pissed off bumble bee

 

no cat that illegal, and you cant pass emissions, you can get over $1000 fine if you get caught without a cat.

 

i don't have emissions and its only temporary untill i can get it over to a muffler shot to have one put on, too loud w/o a cat, car sounds stupid

 

most of the time im just guessing how much i have left in the tank when my gas light comes on, then i drive for another 50 miles or so and fill up usually it takes me about 12.5 gallons to fill up ..

13.2 or .3 in the tank

 

My gauge is retarded and it shows E when I have 10 gallons left. Anyway, I get about 26MPG most of the time. This is about 50 miles highway and 210 miles city each tank. Driving style is 3k city shifting till the car warms up and frequent bursts to at least 6k, 10-15 times daily, plus 8k shifts onto every freeway, and 80-100MPH freeway driving.

when you fill up to the max at the gas station, it will show you how many gallons you pumped. so if you pumped 12 gallons of gas you would have 1.2 gallons left. you can also take the number from the tripdometer(??) and divide it by how much gas you pumped to see how many miles you get per gallon. thats how i think of it everytime i pump gas

 

I am currently at 300miles with my current tank.

It is at the empty line and the gas light has came on a few times.

I'll report back tomorrow when I fill up gas to see how much is left.

I am sure it won't be anymore than 10gallons with this fillup.

I get btn 27-30 mpg with my car doing mostly highway miles.
