You mean to tell me that if you bought a car in 2001, you wouldn't have to get it inspected until 2005? Is that safety or emmissions?

What if the car is reg in NJ and was not bought new in NJ but in NY,
Should I be getting one of those letters too?

actually, that's pretty weird because the actual emissions testing is pretty strict in jersey.

Hmm.. that's strange.. Yeah, N.J. is strict (and retarded). When I brought my 2000 SI (only I/E and short shifter) for it's first inspection this past spring they failed me for my RAZO CF shift ****.. They are jackasses..
