anyone with info regarding 2.25" cat back vs s.5" cat back??
Would there be any noticable hp difference between the two systems on a stock b18c1??
would it be worthwhile upgrading from a 2.25" exhaust to a 2.5" exhaust?

usually 2.5" and greater are used for FI...otherwise you may end up loosing power going that large.
correct me if i'm wrong

if anyone is interested i can do a dyno comparison of stock vs. 2.5".
ok i have done a lot of personal research on this subject for a while. it really comes down to what horsepower range is your goal. if youare looking to put out 200hp at the wheels on a b18c1 you wil need an exhaust with at least a 2 3/8" diameter. the most you could put out with this diameter exhaust would be around 230-250. the 2.25" diameter will cap you off around the 180-190 range. 2.5" will cap you off around 290-300. so i hope that helps you on making a decision. although price sound quality and customer service do come into play as well. personally, i would get a magna flow muffler withcustom 2.5" tubing with a resonator. this will save you a lot of money and will cost around 200-250 depending on how much the shop you go to charges. the magna flow will sound just like the comptech exhaust especially if you get a straight through design on the muffler.
