when i started my LS..for some reason..the lights started flashing on my instrument pannel and i heard some annoying *** clicking noises like a blinker almost..and the clock was flashing too..any one know why? does it have anything to do with my system maybe? im lost...

 

my car did that 2 when my battery was almost out YO! check that 4 shizzy.

 

My car did the same thing when my battery was dead. Car wouldn't start.

clicking noise wasn't like turn singal though. IT was like starter grinding on fly wheel.

 

Check for loose ground connections. Happened to me.

aight i got it...hella dum hah i park my car in my garage..but i still lock it..but i use the key..sometimes i accidentaly push the lock button..so this time.i pushed it.. and didnt know so yeah its okay now thanks guys..and yes..i do feel like a dum *** haha..just thought id share

 

i bet its ur battery. it dont have enuff juice to turn the starter, if you have a volt meter, test the battery and see if it has 12 volts, if not jump the car, then when ur car is running put the leads to the battery again to see if it is 14 volts or more, that will check ur alternator. if less than 14 volts get new alternator.
