Question about chipping my OBD1 ECU LS/p75
i just got my skunk2 chip and all in the mail. it came w/all the normal stuff, EPROM, 74HC373N, jumper, resistor, and 2 capacitors. on the instructions it says, "You DO NOT need to install the resistor or two capacitators. " but on my friends ECU (OBD1 GSR) he has the resistors and capacitors installed. so am i supposed to use them or no?
no you don't have to install the 2 resistors but i'm sure you have to install the capacitor. if you look at the board there is a white dotted outline aroune the 28 pin eeprom. just fallow that for the safest bet. have a nice day. also dont spin it too high or you will go BOOM
thats what i'm confused about, that dotted line goes around 2 different capacitors (C51, and C52), and it also goes around a jumper. i soldered in the jumper. but do i need to put in both capacitors, one, or none?
