Hey all I am new to the board, but not a newbie to hondas. Right now I have a large project on my hands. I have a b16a longblock and a gutted '89 crx si. What should I do with this car? Let me hear you opinions.

 

hmm thats considered a large project??? Find a b20 block take the top end from the b16 and do a b20/vtec swap. look for a YS-1 with lsd. while your at it why don't you go n/a and get aftermarket rods/pistons. run around 11.5-12 to 1 compression and you'll probably hit mid 12's with some good fuel mangement and cams. Then get a 75 shot of the funny stuff and you'll be in the 11's (of course you better have a good suspension,tires and driving skills) then you will be required to run a cage cause you broke into the 11's. then you could.... Never mind now that's a big project. Why don't you just drop that b16 in the crx and drive the **** outta it like everybody else. Just a thought. Oh yea, weclome to Honda-Tech
