Will a clay bar remove light overspray?
What type of paint is it? Alot of it sets differently and its harder then hell to get that crap off. I'd take a 1500 or 2000 grit DA to it and then rub it down with some rubbing compound and hand glaze it.
But I'd try the clay bar first because that crap will cost a little money.

it sure well, when I painted my wheels I wasn't thinking and painted them right next to the car and got overspray on everything. Clay bar took it right off.

Clay Bars rock!!!
i usually can go over my whole car with clay bar in like 10 or 15 minutes. Pretty nasty to see what comes off of your paint too.

Where can you buy a clay bar, and does it just do basically what a wax does or what?
I hope it removes the orange paint.
to me for spraying in the garage with car.
I'll post some pics of the before and after in the future.

), and makes the surface completely smooth. Polish is actually abrasive and will help smooth out surface imperfections, leaving an even more smooth surface. *Note that after doing either of these 2 steps, the car's finish is left with zero protection from the elements. Wax should always come last, it's the protective coating that will help future contaminants easier to wash off, etc.
Clay bar will take it right off.....just make sure to use a water bottle to spray the car with water as you use the clay. Then take a clean terry cloth with some quick detailer to the car, then use a polisher to buff it out.
Sounds good, but I think I have some stuff at my house that does the same thing. It is a meguiars 3 step cleaning thing. I htink the first step does what the clay bar does, then comes polish and finally wax...
