Default will gsr header bolt up to ba18b block?

topic says it all, will a b18c1 header bolt up to a b18b motor? I know the length underneath the car is different, but will it physically bolt up to the block? Also, will the mounting bracket match up underneath the car?

cool, thanks for the quick reply . Reason I ask, is becuase I'm replacing my exhaust system.....I can get a good deal on a 94 GSR header and catback. I have a 94 RS, so this obviously won't bolt on directly because the GSR header is longer.

sooo.....if I get a 94 GSR header and also 94 GSR catback, everything should bolt up fine, right?

Yes, the bolts should line up on the head and the bottom mounting bracket. But like you said, the B18C header may not bolt up to the cat because it will be a bit short unless if you have a 00-01 GS-R Header.

Man I this diagram.

noooo... The missing piece is the catalytic converter. That's different. If you get the GS-R cat along with the rest, then you're good. The GS-R header doesn't have a fitting for the O2 sensor, because on a GS-R the sensor screws into the cat.

The GS-R header is SHORTER & the catalytic converter is longer. I think the OUTLET of the catalyst is located in the same place, but the diameter is different??

whoa, yeah I never thought about the 02 sensor positions....I don't think I'm gonna mess with this, I'll just find an exhaust system that bolts up to my car directly.

Thanks for your help!

that would be a type R -just put a type r header on a 95 ls -perfect fit..the rest of the cat back is going on later..

Well... You said you're already gonna get a GS-R header and a GS-R cat-back. Just get a GS-R cat, to go along with it. Then everything should bolt up. The O2 sensor is in just about the same position on the car, its just that the cat is longer on the inlet end.
