well i tried to search for it, but didn't find any thread that answered it. i was just wondering if it does any harm (such as "burning out" the cruise module) to leave the main cruise switch on all the time. i use my cruise all the time, and i'll forget to turn off the switch after i'm through . i figure if it does no harm i'm just going to leave it on 24-7.

I do the same thing.. haven't experienced any troubles yet..

 

i didn't even know you could turn it off. mine has been on since 94 and still works fine

My cruise control button gets a bit toasty when I leave it on...It that the case for everyone else?

 

Ya mine gets pretty warm.

 

I never leave mine on for very long, the light pisses me off.

As for the change... pennies go under the arm rest (there's about 3-4 inches worth of em in there now), quarters in the ash tray, nickels and dimes go in the coin tray. That way when you're pulling up to the drivethru you can get exact change by the time you're at the window. Am I a genious or what?

 

ahahah my center console is filled with misc crap so all my change goes in the change thingy, it is a pain in the *** in the drive-thru, good idea !

 

My Cruise button gets really hot too, so I just leave it off. I never use cruise anyway.
