can i use a usdm lsd in my y1
i have an lsd unit out of a type r that i was wondering if i could put into my y1. i was wondering if the final drive would do anything like bind up from it being different or what. need some info. thanks

i would have to say, that it will bind up. i haven't put an lsd inside the y1, but i tried putting in the diff and fd from a s1 4.40, and it binded!

yeah i had that same problem with the y1 gear ring into the s1 and it binded. i wish i still had my y1, if you know where to get one. guess i better not hold my breath on that one. but yeah i was wondering. cuz i have all the guts of a type r into a ys1 and somethin is wrong with it when i put it together and bolt everything down it won't shift on the bench. if you can help out there that would be nice
