ok they finally work , this is Franks 01 Civic front end on my friends 90 CRX, these are the odl pics of whent hey 1st started it , its now ready for the pain shop and everything is done and molded as needed and looking sweet, but this gives you guys kinda of an idea of the look of it .

 

Any updated pics before the paint shop...

not yet, my friend didnt really want me to post em like this, but i told him everyone was bugging me to post em . . . ill post up more prob later in the moent if not early next month when the pain it done .

 

what did he encounter doing the install? Was there a lot of customizing?

dang, that last pic looks like it barely clears teh 24inchers....how the heck am I supposed to fit some 26 inchers under there?

yea he had alot of custom molding and **** becuase the cars still a street car and he wanted it to mesh in good with his "body kit" sideskirts and what not . usually they dont come with headlights, nor a grill but agian he wants the car to look good and drivable on the street.
its usually wider too for bigger slicks , but he didnt want anything too wide for street use , and it looked kinda wierd on a crx, becuase it was pretty freaking wide.
also i think they might have trimmed the wheel well down ? i dont remember , i see theres likea line on the fender well , i think they mighta did that is to trim it to fit bigger slicks?
i dunno , it looks totally diff now and got a carbon fiber hood too

 

Hey Paul as far as the crx model goes im not sure what frank has up his sleeves for 26" slicks,but I know that Lenny's car is over there and is getting reworked for 28"slicks so maybe frank can do the same for the rex. Still waiting Lenny -pdang

like i said frank had it built for bigger slikcs, but he made Alex's different becuase its a street car.
