i dont think that is the pic for the ITR muffler. Looks like an SI. The Si has a Bolt that holds the tip on. The ITR is welded.

That's the drawing for the ITR exhaust system, and yes, at the mean time you're right. The ITR muffler tip is welded to the muffler. So, the drawing is wrong.

The type r muffler tip is welded on the muffler. #23 is for a gsr. Just to let you know you can take a gsr tip and stick it in a type r tip.
