Default New Suspension

What would I exactly need to buy in order to change my suspension? Such as ride height, and more stability?

Ride height mostly depends upon the springs/shock setup.

For stability there are almost endless things you can do:

-strut bars, tower bars, cross members, etc.
-upper and lower "performance" control arms
-polyeurethane mounts/inserts
-adjustable offset ball joints / camber kits
-wider tires

It's up to you to decide what you want. Don't forget to get an alignment after you make a decision..

Sorry, I'm new with the car deal. So what are the basics? I've been told that I need springs, shocks, struts, and a camber kit. Is that good enough??

springs/shocks is the way to go for really good performance and without sacrificing ride. coilovers are very stiff but performance is the best. coilovers are for race use.
