Here are the pics. One of my bulbs went out so decided to change them too amber while i was back there changing 1 bulb. In the pics they look a little yellowish but they look much better in person.

how did you change the bulb? Did you paint it or change it whole bulb out ?

 

just changed the 3 bulbs behind the gauge... really simple to do, didnt think it was that simple to do until i did. bulbs cost me about 4 bucks for 4 sylvania 194 bulbs.

 

 

red does looks good if you use the gel cap condom thing.
it's brighter than the red tinted 194's
why i know? course i have both.

think you could point me in the direction of a how-to page on this? I was thinking of going with white or amber...my greenish colour is starting to bother me.

 

no problem... Take those 2 screws out above the steering column



then take out the 3 screws holding the gauge



Don't bother even removing the whole cluster. Turn it side ways and position it so that you can work your way around all the wires. Some people take out the plugs, but theres no need to. There are three little twisting things that hold the bulb in place, just unscrew and replace the bulbs.

that's a bad pic, the color is off. Red bulbs don't look that homo in person. On mine they look damn close to a BMW.

 

not bad...i've seen some people mix the red and amber bulbs to get the "amber" look...

 

anyone ever throw the LED 194's in there?? just wondering how bright they'd be...

I saw that. It has a g2 teggy that tears up all the cars; pretty sick.

 

i got the red ones...i like them better...but the pics dont do it justice

 

i have red bulbs in my cluster and they almost identically match my ITR clock which is "amber" in color, but really lights up a deep orange. I can post pics later

 

i woulda left em white.... the amber looks weird on that cluster.... ehhh
