Default transmission problems?

alright, i was coming home from school today and everything was going fine.. then i make a turn and then a noise started.. i kinda sounded like when you reverse the whineing noise but it was not constant it would whine for a sec then go away whine for a sec go away and as you picked speed the whining got louder and more constant.. so when i got home i put it up on a jsck and started the car up and put her in gear and when the wheel turned it made a squeaking noise .... oh yeah it was the right side wheel..i just replace the tranny fuild last week and i just ckecked it yesterday still fullh and whould it make a clunk noise while braking or going in reverse? cause my car does this. i dunno just thought i should say that too.

from what it sounds like it could be your axle. Heres a good link about axles by Tom.
