Default Cracks on Crankshaft Pulley !?!?!?!?!?!?

I was inspecting a few things on the underside of my 94 GSR when I noticed hairline cracks going around my crankshaft pulley.
Has anyone else experienced this? It looks like metal fatigue and I'm concened that it will eventually fall apart, and probably not in a very nice way.
The part is $150 from ahmotor, but I don't feel ike I have a choice...its going to have to be replaced.
I do not believe the damage was caused by repair or maint. work as the neither the timing belt or wasser pump have ever been replaced.
The pulley is like a tube with 2 rings welded to it. The cracks appear where the outermost "ring" is attached to the main tube. Will try to get a pic posted.
Argh. The only good news is that I will be messing with it anyway as I am in the process of requisitioning parts to do the timing belt/wawa pump anyway.

Sorry to hear it. Sure it's not the rubber damper part that's cracked? Never heard of the metal pulley actually cracking from stress. I've seen a couple with edges chipped off, the owners always say "duh I don't know how that could've happened!" Though I think they probably tried to hold the crank pulley to loosen the pulley bolt and were too cheap to get the overpriced Honda part or even a cheapish flywheel holder. Anyway I'd definately get it changed, better to find out this way.
