will these tires survive 2 days of vir full?
i'm heading to do vir full late february and i'm wondering if these azenis will last for 2 days. all 4 tires have fairly even wear (a little extra on the outside edges) and are on the wear bars. i have another set in better shape which i will use if rain is forecast, but i like to discard tires only when unusable. what do you think?
picture isn't too clear, but the tread is deep enough to cover "in god we trust" on this quarter.
2 days worth of rubber?

stock type R
race brake pads
i drive quick and smooth on a good line, very little sliding/drifting. i've found i use the entire track (proper line & trackout), but i don't necessarily need the entire track because i'm not going at the absolut limits of the car (ie. i don't have the ***** to smash my car). make sense? quick, but not on the razor's edge of losing control.

Looks like enough to me. I'll be there on my Azenis that are in the same shape as yours.
How far are you driving to get there, and will it be on these tires? The only issue I can think of is if it rains on your drive home Sunday night.

i will be commuting on dunlop 5000 all-season tires; they will be my backup tires if the azenis fail me, therefore, i really want the azenis to be good! see you guys at expo3 junior.
it will depend on ambient temperature and your tire temps/pressures.
i would say that you can get 2 days out of them - but on the second day i would check them after every session and make sure they don't cord/blister on you.

bro you will be so fine. just be sure to be safe moreso than trying to drive 10/10ths all the time. use your skill and you will be fine.
