Default 6g accord dropping help for me

hi everybody, i got a 4 cyl. 00' accord 4 door.

i'm having gap problems with dropping my car. right now i have h&r springs, but it gives me a 3&1/2 finger gap in the front.

are there any options i can do so i have no gap, or at least a one finger gap?
i was thinking of getting koni yellows, but someone told me that wont drop that much lower.

and so i'm thinking tein coilovers. but i'm not sure how low the coilovers will drop the car.
a cheap option is what i would like, hehe. but i dont want to get cheap parts. thanks. i would like to keep as stock of a ride as i can. that is why i'm thinking teins.
does any of you guys have a good setup i can do that will leave me with zero to one finger gap. thanks everybody.

you need to raise the car up, a drop that low has nothing but ill effects on the car

I will leave this here for the time being to see if someone can give you an intelligent answer, the first sign of flaming and it goes to appearance/cosmetic forum

can we please stop using the finger gap system. I have no idea if you are a midget or a meaty fisted giant, and thus have no idea what a 3 1/2 finger gap is. 3 1/2 inches, I know what that looks like. 3 1/2 cm, i know what the looks like too, but 3 1/2 fingers? got no idea.

having said that, there is no cheap solution unless you want cheap parts.

want a stock ride, keep the suspension stock. next best is prokit on yellows.

koni yellows will let you go 1/2 or 1 inch lower if you get the sp3, and they will let you adjust your ride Q.

Tiens ride nice to a point, but if you are completely slammed, nothing will ride anywhere close to stock. you have removed too much travel from the suspension and it has to be super stiff to protect it from bottoming out. they are a good setup though.

as mentioned, going too low is strictly for the icyhot look. no performance gains. In fact, you typically handle like poo.

sorry about the finger gap thing,

my back has about an inch of gap and my front about 2 and 1/2 in. so it looks funny.

what would you guys consider a good drop for my car, while keeping the performance. would an extra inch in the front using the yellows be good?

thanks for your help. sorry if posted in wrong place.

em..the correct way to measure ride height is from the center of your rims to the metal fender.
I have 15.5-16 inch before i lower my accord 6th gen(if my memory serve me right)
how come both front and back it's not even? you sure it's not just visual?

max drop for me is about 2 inch.
1.5-1.75inch drop=

I have eibach prokit myself, 1.5 inch f and r.
not a bad slammed drop but it keep me from scraping
everything on the ground.(i live in SoCal..**** cop, speed bump and high traffic)]

all i could say is get the Teins SS system & screw it all the way down or get Neuspeed Race Springs, they have 2.25" drop all around. but do you really wanna scrape the ground? then get a cutting torch or burn them springs outta them perches.

i just measured my drop from the center of the wheel. it turns out if original is 15.5-16 in. then my springs only dropped the car about 1 in. and my back is about 1 in. lower than my front. must be the box. its not even that big of a box.

thanks for all your help, i think i'm going to try to get the koni yellows to save some money, and maybe think about going with h&r sport or race spring later, if it looks funny still.
