heh man..i have a 97 RS but i live in florida.......

 

I got a 2000 GSR but I put on a skunk 2 intake manifold. I am currently using a aem cai for 94-01 ls. So basically my car will fit any ls/rs intake.

 

hey man ill take one but i live in nc. i have a 99 ls 5spd. right now i have a cheap ram intake. please let me know.

just curious really, but why do we need to live there?...i'd pay for the shipping costs 2000 Ls 5 speed

 

They need vehicles to do tests on, then they give you the intake.

 

ahhhh bunch of idiots here who cant read! aem will give ua free intake only if u provide them with ur car for 2 weeks!!!! thats why u need to live in california! they're not gonna just toss everyone free intakes just cuz u ask! man!

2 Weeks of testing for a intake? HAH! Okay lets say that intake is worth 200 dollars, devided by 14 days...
WOW! Ill be damned if i going to let someone basically have my car for 14 dollars and 28 cents a day for a 2 week period...

I dont live in SO CO, but even if i did and owned a 99 ls 5spd...Unless you gave me alot more than a free intake to test on my car for 2 weeks...it wouldnt happen, and i dont think it WILL happen with anyone else on here.

first off, AEM is being nice enough to offer this to us, rather than fine someone else who would maybe do it for free(like a friend). At least they're being nice enough to GIVE you something brand new for FREE.
Secondly SO CO looks more like Southern Colorado, California's abbreviation is CA. most ppl say so cal

And WOW yeah there giving it for FREE...Where in free do i hear letting someone do tests on the car for a 2 week period? I dunno, maybe its just me, but i would not be willing to lend my car out for two weeks to get an air intake.
This is just IMO though.
Maybe being without a car for 2 weeks if worth a air intake to a few people.

Who's gonna test it in the cruddy weather, like in the snow here in C-town? (Cleveland for you who think no-cal and so-cal are new artificial sweetners)

Come on, it's a "COLD AIR" intake, like sunshine and 80 degrees is a good test. (that's for those in so-cal who forget that there are 49 other states)
