EG swap with auto B18B1?
Would that make a big difference? It's for my g/f's car and she can't drive a 5-speed. But her DX is super slow right now, and it irritates me. Also, how much should I expect to pay for a complete B18B1 swap with axels, ecu, and everything else. I know wiring it shouldn't be that hard, since no vtec. Also will the tranny fit on her car? Thanks!
It'll definately make a difference the only question I have is, does she want the swap? It just seems like you are the one that wants it... if so... man that's dedication.

She actually wants a motor swap. She said, and I quote "my car is too slow". :D
And since she asked, when I'm gonna paint her car, I'm probably gonna drop a motor in it too. It's gonna be full sleeper. Stock height, new paint, rims, no exhaust. :D

Hey man, let me know how well this B18 auto swap goes. I'm so into it, I'm concidering getting a auto in my next car (CRX) just so my gf can drive it from time to time. I'm not so much into the power aspect of this sport anymore, just love to swap stuff around.
I'm thinking 90-91 CRX w/ a DOHC non-VTEC auto transmission. Then comes the show.
Good luck with your swap man!

Bringing this back to life! I have a 1993 Civic DX Coupe with a toasted auto trans , and like mztykal I am wondering about the swapping a OBD1 B18b1 engine/auto trans in my car. Can anyone tell me if the wiring for the trans is the same as the Civic? Any info appreciated!
Thanks!
Thanks!
