Default Special header

I am looking for a header made of high-grade steel in 4-1 design (DC2).
A customer ordered it. Both elements...

1) High-grade steel
2) 4-1

are a must.

And it should cost less than 700.

Can somebody help ?

From what I've read you should contact Dave, SMSP on the forum. He'll definitely be able to help you out, though i'm not sure of the price of one of his beautys.

You're looking into a custom design for a specific application, correct?

I have a feeling it will be tough to find a custom-built, stainless header for under $700. Does that $700 include shipping/customs costs?

Have you looked into any European shops? Surely there are places that can fabricate a custom header over there.

The DC Sports JDM 4-1 is available in stainless steel and is well under $700. I'm not sure it meets the "high-grade steel" criteria, but one could always have it coated and still be under the $700 cap.

The Type One header can be had for $600 from IPSracing. It out performed all headers in the great header test from 6k-7200 in HP and torque. I'm considering getting one myself.

Ah,
yes. its 421. Another point is, that IPS doesn`t seem to answer emails... I cannot call him because only national calls are possible with my phone.

Hmm. So just DC remains. But DC sports is a kind of enemy to us.. This is not an option.

Thanks but the situation is cleared up.
We`ll go for the Mugen 4-1 (750$) and offer DC JDM as an option.

Customer is king.
