I hope this isn't too ot...just wanted to share my experience with you guys. Well, I installed a set of hypergrounds this weekend...the throttle response is definitely better...start up is easier, headlights are brighter. These things are obvious to me. As for horsepower and torque, I didn't expect to really gain much but I'm going to have the car dynoed soon and I'll let you guys know how that goes. I think these ground wires are worth it imo.

 

cool. are those the grounds that someone on the board makes(tommy gunns??)?? or did you get them from a manufacturer?

 

I got them from a manufacturer. I'm sure Tommy's are just as good. I was just being lazy bout it and didn't feel like making my own...

 

how's the installation....is it hard to do ?

I have been considering (sp) them for a long time now but have just been to lazy to order them.

 

Comes with a diagram and step by step installation instructions...keep in mind that depending on where you ground, gains could be more or less. If you can fill up with gas at the local gas station, you can do this... it's nothing to worry about. I'd be more worried about the time of day and the weather conditions..

Anyways, I've also got a home made system on my engine, and there's no way I'd take it off..

 

I doubt you can see change on the dyno because the HP "gain" is so little. Nice to see someone trying this out though.

 

So people who live in NJ can't do this mod? huhu
