prelude info
i am selling my jetta and i will have about 5500 to spend on a car, maybe a little more later this summer when i start working to mod it. but i need a daily driver and i was considering a prelude cause they seem like cool cars. could i get a decent one for this much money? oh and how big is the back seat, is it so small that it really isn't practical? i havn't actually been in one yet so i wouldn't know. thanks.
I bought my 92 lude for 4300 with 120k on it and it runs great. The back seat is a little small, the only big problem is that tou feet don't fit, leg room and head room is not bad, but your feet will cramp up after a while. that and the driver will be puched up a little. Not good for a group of friends on trips, just when u have too.
well a just did timing belt water pump and performance tune up with 8.5 wires caps and rotor and all new belts, but besides that not much of a problem, just change the oil and put gas in it. My cuz works at Nissan dealer so i got a good deal on the tune up stuff, but if over 100k u should get it checked and tuned up
i picked up my first lude(92s auto) with 125k miles for 3000 dollars, had a bad deal with vandalism to my car and had it totaled, i bouth my second lude, 92 prelude si, auto, with 130k miles (mint interior/exterior) for 5100 dollars, suffered a total loss because of a drunk driver, i just recently purchased number 3, a 92 prelude si 5 speed, with 230k miles on it, for 2500 dollars, and it runs like a dream, it was perfectly maintained, runs strong shifts fine, so i'd tell you to look for one, by the way, if your a tall guy, you'll like it, i'm 6'3 and i have to move the chair forward a couple inches so i can touch the pedals, lol
