Do you think rotas are lame or cool. I am debating buying rotas but they feel cheesy because they are fake. In the other hand if someone steals them who cares i can buy 3 sets for my car for the price of mugen or spoon rims.

Yeah alot of people tell me not to get rotas because its like buying a "fake designer wear"

 

i think rotas are ok if you cant afford it.

 

get real rota slips, not the knock-offs.

 

Ive worked at a shop now for along while and Ive seen many rims come and go.

Rota makes a great rim for what you are getting. Lightweight and affordable. They are still around the same price as most reputable 16/17" rims but they offer a lightweight that most cannot compete with.

Im sure that 100% would go mugen , spoon, advan, sparco, rays, volk, old skool r/h, but they are damn expensive and not everyone puts every pennyinto their rims. People who buy rotas and try to say ther\y are the real deal. Well they have a problem but rota is a good rim for most. Certain copys they have made are amazing like the circut 8, slip, sub, and the new rnr copy.

 

Rims are rims, as long as they can withstand potholes, curbs, etc... And perform as designed to. Then they are good in my book. Who cares if they aren't Spoon or Mugen or someother JDM company. I would rather buy Rotas or Nippon rims and spend that extra cash on other stuff

I like mine, but later down the line when I can afford to spend money on the wheels that I want these rims will be sold. But they are good quality and hold up well.
