If you are talking gauge overlays it is very easy i haven't done it in a while so i don't remember everything but on a del sol you take out the two screws above the cluster and the three holding it in from there i forget i just had to do that today to fix my tach hope this helps some

in a del sol its almost tooooo easy to take out the guage cluster.. the part on top of the dash above the guage cluster that has the switches for the cruise control the fog lights and stuff like that.. all you gotta do is take out the two screws on the bottom.. then pop out the switches.. if your sittin in the drivers seat just pull them toward you and they slide right out... then that piece is just held in by clips after you have done the first two things so just pull it off.. then there are 3 screws holding the guages in.. one on each side.. then one on top.. take thsoe out and then pull the cluster out.. and your done..
