Default right need some U.S help for UKowners

in the uk we have no info on attaching another bottom end on to the b16a2 head... over here i haev seen a few people say u can put a 1.8 bottom end on to the b16a2 head... is this true, what bottom end is this engine from and what model cars have these....or can anyone supply information on stroker kits for the b16a2???

any info appreciated on inc torque of the b16a2 would be greatly appreciated by us del sol owners across the big pond...

many thanks in advance if people can spare some time to right us a reply as its the first time i have used this site...

yup...you can get a B16A2 head on a LS integra bottom end. it's called an LS/VTEC. stock (meaning no internal engine mods) LS/VTECs usually put down like 160-170 depending on intake, header and exhaust mods. you'll need an external line running from the block to the head though to keep the oil running to the head. you'll need some ARP rods for the B16 head.

don't really know where you can get tbe B18A/B blocks in england though...locally, they cost like 300-500 US $ for just the short block (complete block with pistons, no head, no tranny, no mounts...etc.,). here's a link to clubsi NA (non-aspirated) forum discussing the LS/VTEC or CRVTEC setup and what is needed to accomplish the buildup. hope this helps out...
