how much did it cost u to get a new rear 1/4 at the body shop....i am just trying to find out what i could do to save my car.....i have been working on it to long just to give up.... all it need to be drive able again is the rear trailing arm and tire...but the rear 1/4 is smashed in big time.... so give me ur best guess...

Are you talking about a complete 1/4?? If so I would guess that not only will it be pricey but there will be a lot of work invovled considering that the 1/4 is part of the unibody struture so you would have to make sure that everything stays straight when taking the old one off and putting the new one on otherwise your body will be tweaked........I would call up a bunch of different body shops and get some estimates it may be cheaper for you to just find a clean shell and transfer everything over...Just my $.02 though....

i had an estimate on it a while back... $1200 with labor, expensive ... more than the car in my book

 

i think i am just going to do it my self and buy me a mig welder...hehe i talked to a guy that has done it b4 and he told me what i had to do and it dosent seem that hard....so project civic is going to be restarted....i am going to get a 2k loan and get a wings west rs kit or mabey just the front bumper i dont know yet and get new fenders...(mine are all dented)

so if u guys have any web sites were i can get a rear 1/4, fenders and a rear pass trailing arm for a civic hb hit me up.....thanks

i do body work and that **** would be simple, all you have to do is drill out the spot welds and weld it back on basically. you should you an air chisel to separate the panels also.
