I getting a 94 Civic EX, i plan to keep the d16, and just do the basic mods and stuff like i/h/e, what are some times i could expect from a stock 16.6 1/4mile.?

Will be on premium gas too.

What have you guys gotten on this engine.

 

the coupe with those mods and some good drving, possibly a 15.9. Gut it out a bit, get some smaller/lighter wheels and tires, get some good airflow and compression, and you could be putting down some decent times

 

hit 15.3 with my D16Y8 (126whp) only mods were AEM cai, RSR header and exhuast (stock cat)

 

hIT 15.4 IN 93 SI homemade intake, with tanabe rm exhaust. Removed power steering belt, took out back seats, ran on stock wheels

 

i have i/h/e on my 95 si , 15.9 was my best @91 mph? i cant remember

o yeah sure, 1st and 2nd are fun, then it just sucks

 

My friend hit a 15.5 with a muffler, AEM CAI, 2" drop, and an Si b16A2 ECU in his 99 coupe.

 

back in 1998 we were able to hit a 14.9 with a 1995 EX coupe with the D16z6, header, intake exhaust and throttle body.
on 14x8 slicks.

 

See my sig. I did it with 13" almost bald stock steelies. Car was pretty gutted too.

Mods were dc sport 4-2-1 ceramic header, AEM cold air intake, Cat back Apexi DUnk exhaust and that is it.

with an intake and exhaust on my 96 coupe ex, full interior except for donut. i ran a 15.7

 

I ran A 15.8 wit my 93 si hatch full interior when i still had that motor. mods was Headers,AEm cold air,full exhaust w/stock cat, and a good tires with the clutch that was probaly 80% gone

I'm probably in the 15.2-15.3 range.I'll be running the 1/4 this season. Cam gear, exhaust, intake, and few other thing that don't add HP. 14's is possible/13's would be tough/12's and under are probably fully built.

 

15.2 with zex cam, bolt ons and vtec controller. stock tires

 

unfortunetly i ahve the Y7, stock i ran, 17.3... im either a horrible driver... or the engine is just slow...lol, anyways i ahve i/h/e and spark plug wires.. im running 16.7.. but on street of coarse.. i can beat a prelude... h23a... so i was pretty happy, and a matter of fact i did that 2night... that was fun, makes me feel good...

Unless you advanced your timing save your money on the gas, no need for premium, and no real gain.

 

My bro will be shootin for 13's as soon (or late) as I get his new bottom end done. Gonna need to dump the zex cam and go with a skunk2 though.
