Clutch installment.
You need to be mechanically inclined to do this. There is no set time on how long it will take you if you have never done it before. Chances are your going to have to fight with a lot of the bolts to get them loose.
i say get a super long extension Long bar to go over your breaker bar to snap looose those tranny and engine mount bolts.
have a friend help ya out... i used the online helms manual and it was everythingi needed,
it wasnt too hard, just look a long time since it was my first time.
make sure u get a 32 mm axle nut for taking off the axle.s have someone step on the brake and anoter holding the socket and yo cranking the long *** pole extention. works like a charm

dont try and pound out the b-pin under the car. just take off the linkage @ the shifter and dont pop out your ball joints to get the axles out. Just take out the LCA bolts/suspension bolts for struts and swing the rotor assembly outward & pop the axle/s out. Really easy just did it last night in fact.

You can change the clutch with out a lift. Just jack it up and put it on some jack stands. There is no need to disconnect the shift linkage. Just seperate the tranny from the Block. You only need about 6 inches of room to work with. I had to take out my axels to move my tranny. Really all you will need is a socket set. I beleive the tranny bolts are 17mm. Here are some pics of my clutch install. Centerforce Dual-Friction:

THANK YOU SO MUCH! that helped out so much! my only problem is something about 12 point bolts... all my sockets are 6... well they work or well it strip the bolts out? did you use any oil of any kind?
Go to sears and get a 12 point socket for the clutch and the flywheel (you should have it resurfaced). Do not the to take the flywheel off with out the correct socket.

when installing a clutch did any one use any type of oil to install?
i have to say one of the hardest parts is getting the tranny out and back in the car. i 've done it with and with out a lift. when i didn't have a lift it was hard to hold the tranny and fit it back up. and raise/lower the engine to the right height.
Some final notes. Try and have another person there too to help you, theyll be useful when u needa align things. Also, try n start on the install early, because when i did mine it was a bitch to install at night, even with my big *** halogen lamp. And about the 12 point socket, Yes you will need it... I had to wait over night because by the time i realized i needed the socket it was too late n all the stores closed.
make sure u have a jack under the engine and a piece of wood to insulate between your jack and the oil pan.....
it woul be nice to have another jack when puttin the tranny back on.
