Default taking apart headlight Q what temperature???

im taking my 96 civic lights apart to paint the inside black. i know u put them in the oven to melt the glue, but what temperature should i put it on???

Never done it in an oven, a hair dryer works just fine.... take your time and be sure to pick out all of the OE glue if you want them to look nice when you glue them back together.... Good Luck

i think its 200-300 in a oven for 10-15mins...use glove cause they will be HOT>

try this and u will have black melted plastic on the front of your headlights.

i would put it at 200 degrees, put one in take it out, pry on it.....see if its plyable enough..if not, put it back in for a little bit.
