your KAMINARI hood has imperfections!!?? those things cost a fortune? does it have rolled edges? i always thought that kaminari made first rate stuff.

yeah unfortunately it does. the weavings and minor bubbles. i thought the same as you at first. it cost a mini-fortune and of course it has perfect rolled edges, no complaints about that.

I got a cf hood from Kaminari a while back. It broke within 30 minutes. Those hoods are garbage!

Yeah I'm getting some quotes on 4th gen trunks Saturday i.e. today. These ones will be 100% Carbon Fibre, even the supports

heh lets go all out, how about a Cf sunroof pannel too, if you get the hood the trunk and the pannel (guessing 300) that works out to be like 1500 worth of CF after shipping, give or take a couple hundred. just for maybe 70lbs lighter car which isn't even 1/10'th of a second in the 1/4. but hey you get that rice factor of 33.593^3

thankyou cotton, actually i drive a 92 prelude SI with a 98 base h22a4 in it 5spd the head and IM are comming off to go to DPR this month for a stage 6 p&p crower stage 2/3 cams type s pistons milled etc etc. swane coated piston crowns for a ~70 shot port matched TB and EM. and i actually only have one sticker on my car and it is only visible at night, i actually had a lot of the more respected people on HP.com ask where i got it and how to make their own. nonetheless i am fairly certain sticky that I know far more about your own car than you do, i mean for christ sake thats how i make my money to pay for MY OWN parts for my car, i buy, sell and rebuild Hondas, particularly Preludes because i feel soo comfortable with them. BTW i don't think CF looks bad, i like the way it looks i just think it is overly ricey to go all out and put that **** on a otherwise stock street car just to say you have it, which is more than likely what you are doing, if you are making a track car then more power to ya, but a ***** like you probably doesn't possess the mental fortitude.

Actually my car is stock nothing done to it not even an intake. Though i would like to run it on the track for fun, but no point of doing anything to the lude when you have over 245,284 miles on there is there.

 

my lude has 202,000mi on it, i fail to see your point. third engine comming soon, just replace what brakes and don't try to bust on somebodys car just cause they have better taste than you and don't pretend to be something they aren't.

 

I didnt think i had bad taste when i bought my lude maybe i did i mean its a 91 si . Well i dont like aruging with a fellow luder im droping it.
