Default honda guru...please help....code 43.....

okay...the other day my car ran fine and then the check engine light came on...at the same time the car started to bog really bad when you press the gas too hard. i know that cell 43 means bad fuel or oxygen sensor, but we tested the oxygen sensor and its good...i have a new fuel filter, fuel pump, injectors, and fuel pressure regulator....my question is what else can it be?? it drives fine from a cold start but it acts like this when it starts to warm up....please help me....oh yea....i have an 89 rex with a 91 b18a...

I had that problem awhile back and it was a leak in my vacuum line that ran from my throttlebody to my MAP Sensor.... I replaced it and reset the ECU and never had the problem again....its worth a try...

Sounds like the same problem I was having with my Z24 right before the fuel pump took a ****. I know you said you just replaced it but maybe you got a bad one?? I would definately check the fuel pump pressure.

Don't the 91 ls engine have the same code as 91 crx engine. Just a thought
Sounds like it may be your fuel pump.

that s for fuel supply system it might mean its running too rich

on my DA i had that code always i couldnt get rid of it and frankly i didnt give a **** caus e i took out the chech engine light and the car always ran DAMN strong and i knew it was running a lil rich I only got the code after i installed a chip
and my friend who sold me the chip and designed and races in the SCCA said that it doesent effect performance...this was a B18a obviously

you should check your injectors, take them apart, and inside they have little filters that help protect your fuel from getting dirt into your engine, if you are missing them or they are smashed or damage, make sure you replace them, but what sucks is that they dont sell that little fliter seprate, your gonna have to buy the whole injector..

try that and see if your still bogging or not

have you checked the cap, rotor, coil? the code and problem could be unrelated .. alot of b18 swaps give 43 code .. mines did too .
