water in spark plug holes
Alright...Like the header states, but its liquid, i dunno if its water.... Theres something liquid in one of my spark plug holes... But only in one of them, it was also loose as in not covered good.. The cyliner was firing. Its the one nearest the water pump and tmiing belt. Should there be a liquid? If not, will it hurt if it drops into the cylinder when trying to change my plugs? How do I get it out? anythign specaial, or is it ok, or does it belong in there?
definitely doesnt belong there... what color is the liquid? can you dab some up and smell it? soak it up with a rag as best as you can before pulling the plug
its actually a brown liquid... Its like dirty water... Put some oil in a bit i dabbed out, completely different, which is a plus I guess...
hhmmm its prolly jus from the weather, id think... or if you washed under your hood recently. good that its not oil tho. perhaps the hat of your plug wire isnt snug enough to the top of the valve cover...
edit-check the color of your coolant. sometimes coolant turns brown if not changed in a while and it could be that, in which case, is not so good. coolant and oil are resistant of each other, so it would also demonstrate that characteritic as you said.

It's prob. just some dirty/rusty water from a rainy day or a wash; happened to me. The spark plug boots get loose and water gets in. Just stick some long twisted paper towels down in, push it tight, let it sit, and pull it back out. Keep doing it till you don't see anymore water. I think putting some alcohol down there might make it dry up, anyone?

i'd go to the gas station and use their air hose to dry it up. make sure you don't take the plug out before you dry the hole out. If it is oil you'll have to get the seals that go under the valve cover.
Fire into it with an air compressor and a towel so you don't blind yourself.
One time a guy (cough*me) forgot to put spark plug gaskets on when he replaced his valve cover...the plug holes were filled with oil, we got it out with an air compressor...and hose.
